The "Guttorm" room is located in one of the oldest stabbur (traditional storehouses) on the courtyard of Hagaled Gjestegård. Here, rustic charm meets modern comfort. Please note that access to the room requires climbing a steep staircase (see photo).
The room features a double bed and a small private bathroom with a shower and toilet. Free WiFi is included.
"Guttorm" is located next to the four-bed room "Even". Book both rooms for a total of six beds.
Hagaled Gjestegård is centrally located in Nesbyen, within walking distance of the town center and close to excellent hiking and biking opportunities.

Hagaled Gjestegård is one of the oldest farms in Nesbyen and has been in the same family for over 400 years. The property features historic buildings from different centuries, transformed into unique accommodations that preserve their original character while offering modern comfort.
The guesthouse has a warm and authentic atmosphere, with each room named after individuals who have lived on the farm over the years. The family history dates back to the late 1500s, encompassing everything from Scottish clan feuds to Danish nobility. Most of the owners, however, have been proud and steadfast Hallingdal locals who have carefully maintained the farm and its traditions.

Guest, May 2025: Hagaled Gjestgiveri – A beautiful, atmospheric hotel! We stayed three nights in the “Guttorm” room in the old storehouse. It was fairly small (and affordable!), but Sigrun made sure we were more than comfortable throughout our stay: we got extra storage space outside the room, indoor bike parking in the barn, a place to wash our bikes, and an extension cord for charging the e-bike. Lovely breakfast in a clearly well-kept space. Highly recommended!
